What is a marketing strategy and why it is important to have one:

A marketing strategy is the the long term planning of business objectives that a company wants to achieve. A thorough marketing strategy covers the four Ps of marketing: product, price, place, and promotion and helps define clear, realistic and measurable marketing objectives. A company needs a marketing strategy in order to effectively allocate its advertising budget to the channels that will have the most impact.
